Host Color (hostcolor.com), a shared web hosting provider now offers .cn and .in domain registrations. A Delaware based hosting company has today announced the addition of .cn and .in domain name registration to its premium Linux based hosting package - the Mega pack.
The new domain extensions will be available to all Host Color customers ordering the Mega pack. Hosting plans comes with 1000 MB of web space, 50 GB of transfer and many more features.
“Our company believes that the Internet is for everyone. We are happy to offer customers from emerging markets and developing countries equal opportunities for their web presence. The new domain extensions would help them preserve their identity on the net,” says Host Color’s Executive Vesselin Drangajov.
Chinese .cn domains can be registered in the format ‘domainname.cn’ or ‘domainname.com.cn’. Indian domains can registered be with the following extensions: co.in, net.in, org.in, firm.in, gen.in, ind.in (.gen.in denotes general while ind.in - individual).
The company also announced that for a limited period the new domain extensions will be available within Host Color’s “$1 domain promotion” on its Mega hosting package which it announced earlier in July.
Other domain extensions included in the promotion are com, net, org, biz, info, us, ws, name and co.uk domain extensions. Promotional prices for domain registration will also apply to Host Color Europe (hostcoloreurope.com), the European affiliate of the company.
“Our new domain promotion is (a) message to our customers that shows we are committed to keeping our prices accessible and our hosting offers (as) reliable as ever. We try to form a reasonable pricing policy even though others try to overbid the market. We still keep to the budget class hosting services but what we give our customers is more flexibility. To meet their requirements we implemented our own hosting software solutions that have helped us to offer more comprehensive service,” says Drangajov.
Although Host Color’s established itself as budget hosting provider, the company’s advanced Mega Pack hosting plan offers services such as SSH access that are associated with higher class hosting services, added Drangajov.
