London, 27 February 2006 - Rackspace Managed Hosting Europe saved the day for firsthelpline.com when it launched its new website on 16th January. www.climatechangenow.com/switch.php is a site designed to help the environment by offering consumers the chance to save money whilst also reducing the serious problem of global warming by switching to an earth friendly energy provider.

Rackspace was called in to host the site after firsthelpline.com ran into problems with its existing hosting provider. Paul Green, Managing Director, firsthelpline.com, explains: “Our client, climatechangenow, asked us to provide a full hosting service for the exciting new site which we had designed for them. Unfortunately, our usual hosting supplier could not provide the rapid scalability we needed for such a newsworthy site. We needed a managed hosting supplier urgently as we were due to go live on Monday and it was already 5.30pm on Friday 13th.”
