October 10, 2006 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Providing customers with ‘Total Solutions Hosting’, Apollo Hosting has deployed CanIt-PRO Anti Spam software to 30,000 clients worldwide.
Apollo’s Vice President of Operations, Don McLeman, reflected upon the switch to CanIt-PRO, in a PR Web release: “We were fairly happy with our anti-spam filter at the time, but they wanted to re-negotiate the contract… this would have been expensive for us and bad for our clients.”
Upon seeing CanIt in action for another company, the implementation of CanIt at Apollo Hosting began and from there it was smooth sailing, the company reports. Apollo says they took full advantage of the 30 day trial period.
Before switching to CanIt, 50% - 70% of the Apollo staffs’ time was spent getting servers Whitelisted, etc. and taking care of customer complaints regarding spam.
With CanIt-PRO, 1.4 to 1.8 million messages a day are filtered, with a success rate of 97%, far superior to their old product Apollo says.
