October 16, 2006 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Bonphire announced an expansion of options for dedicated server customers by adding an Assisted Service Plan, a professional, cost-cutting I.T. solution.
With the Assisted Service Plan, customers can receive the power of a dedicated server without the need to perform all of the administrative tasks associated with an unmanaged account, such as server startup, patching and anti-virus protection.
“The new Assisted Service Plan from sets Bonphire apart from the rest. We will offer our customers personalized administration and maintenance of their servers,” Martin Rorch of Bonphire said, in a PR Leap release. “Our customers will be able to shift a large part of their I.T. Operations to us, enabling them to focus on their core business.”
With the purchase of a service contract, add-on services include security scans, backup and recovery, monitoring and escalation management, at no extra cost. Custom engineering options and consulting are also available, billed at a flat hourly rate.
