March 22, 2007 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Web host Supanet reports that they’re pleased with the new rules regarding broadband migration, as the company experiences a greater number of sign ups to their £7.99 per month broadband service.
One month after OFCOM decided to enforce the MAC code ruling, Supanet says people are finding it easier to switch Internet provider. Before the ruling, broadband companies did not have to provide customers with a MAC code, which resulted in long delays and loss of service, discouraging people from switching.
Following the ruling, Supanet introduced special offers for customers who are dissatisfied with their broadband providers and can now use the easier migration process to switch services.
“We congratulate OFCOM on their decision to enforce the MAC code ruling, it’s now easy for broadband customers to switch provider and we’re reaping the benefits,” David Hankinson, Sales Manager for Supanet, said in a PR Leap release.
Supanet is trying to make it as simple as possible for customers to switch, giving anyone that migrates to Supanet broadband for just £7.99 a month or get it with free anytime landline calls for £14.99.
