April 3, 2007 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Reuters and hosting provider SAVVIS signed a five-year deal. Through the agreement, SAVVIS will provide services for business applications, to improve Reuters’ reliability and scalability of their flagship website.
This will provide the framework for a modern Web 2.0 media site and allows Reuters.com to scale easily as web traffic builds.
Over 17 million users visit Reuters global network of websites each month. It’s the world’s largest international news and financial data source, reaching one billion people per day.
