Multimedia news organization, Reuters.com, announced it has strengthened its Web presence by signing a five year deal with SAVVIS, which will provide IT infrastructure for a Web 2.0 media site

April 3, 2007 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Reuters and hosting provider SAVVIS signed a five-year deal. Through the agreement, SAVVIS will provide services for business applications, to improve Reuters’ reliability and scalability of their flagship website.

This will provide the framework for a modern Web 2.0 media site and allows Reuters.com to scale easily as web traffic builds.
