Truston Selects Terremark for Manage Web Hosting Services

April 20, 2007 – (TopHosts News Brief) – Terremark Worldwide, Inc. (AMEX:TWW) announced that Truston, a leading vendor of library systems in the Netherlands, selected their managed hosting subsidiary, Dedigate, N.V. as its strategic hosting partner.

Terremark will handle hosting for Truston’s BiblioByte ASP environment at the Amsterdam Data Center. Truston says it chose Terremark, because of the quality of the solution and the scalability offered by its platforms. Terremark will provide Truston with a robust, manageable and safe server park to ensure that its BiblioByte application stays up for customers.

“To relieve our users of all application-related issues, we decided to market our package in an ASP model,” Rene de Vos, Truston Sales Manager responsible for BiblioByte, said in a company press release. “It quickly became apparent that Terremark was the best option to outsource our critical infrastructure.”

BiblioByte is one of Truston’s vertical applications, designed especially for libraries. It supports front and back office services of libraries and allows the delivery of additional services, such as systems management and personnel administration from a centralized environment where connected libraries can easily cooperate with other libraries and share their collections.
