May 31, 2007 – (TopHosts News Brief) - SoftLayer Technologies announced its robust development network. This network will give customers direct access to the developers who build and maintain the revolutionary open API system.
“The new SLDN will give our customers access like never before,” Dorian George, Director of Product Development at SoftLayer, said in a company press release. “As the first dedicated hosting company to offer an Open API system coupled with the support of the SLDN, SoftLayer is serving up the total and complete solution.”
The company says it will have access to both developers and system administrators in order to effectively and efficiently integrate API features into custom applications, commercial software or corporate intranets. The SLDN also offers a software development kit with information on building and integrating applications relevant to the SoftLayer API.
The SLDN will also feature forums where developers can share information and progress with their peers. Blogs by the SoftLayer development group will also be available.
