June 1, 2007 - (TopHosts News Brief) - Level 3 Communications’ Content Markets Group announced that Jupiter Hosting, Inc., a leading managed hosting company, to enhance their Internet access services.
Under the terms of the expanded multi-year service agreement, Level 3 will upgrade the company to multiple 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GigE) circuits. Level 3 will increase the total IP transit capacity it
supplies to Jupiter Hosting.
Through the agreement, Level 3 will also replace multiple single-gigabit Ethernet ports with 10 GigE circuits in three of Jupiter Hosting’s Silicon Valley, California locations. The upgrades will support Jupiters expansion of their hosting network, enabling the firm to better serve its existing managed hosting customers, as well as to facilitate its entry into new markets. The upgrades will also simplify Jupiter Hosting’s Internet Protocol (IP) transit architecture to enable more efficient operations.
