Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) listed distributor, itX, has bought Web host ICO International, which provides services to about 155 customers

July 6, 2007 - (TopHosts News Brief) - ASX-listed distributor itX announced the acquisition of Web hosting business ICO International, in a statement to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

Through the agreement, itX will fund the acquisition from existing cash reserves. Specific terms of the agreement of the acquisition are under confidential obligations.

Established in 1997, ICO provides Web hosting to about 155 customers running Microsoft operating systems. Their equipment is housed in a data center in Sydney and has an AS/NZ 7799 security rating. ICO also has a data center presence in Melbourne.
