July 18, 2007 - (TopHosts News Brief) - SpaceAsia, launched today its Virtuozzo-based Virtual Private Server (VPS) solutions for business customers in China and surrounding Asian countries.
Hosted on Linux servers in the company’s fully redundant Hong Kong data center, the new plans come with a choice of CentOS4.2, Fedora Core 5, openSuSE 10.1, or Debian 4.0 operating systems. All plans include daily data backups, 24/7 Network Monitoring, and a 99.5% Uptime Guarantee. VPS currently come in three configurations, ranging from 198 HKD (US$25) to 798 HKD (US$100) each month.
“There is a strong demand for hosting and IT services for the Asian market as a whole. So much of the worldwide hosting market is based in the United States, and for Asian businesses, this presents a distinct geographic disadvantage,” Kai Kromat, SpaceAsia Founder and CEO, said in a company press release.
SpaceAsia’s new VPS plans include a variety of standard features, such as MySQL databases, unlimited POP3 email accounts, and full root access and control for customers. Additionally, the company’s customer support department is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
