July 27, 2007- TopHosts News Brief- Node4, a UK-based Web hosting provider, built its first data centre in 2003, announced the development of a second, state-of-the-art Data Centre at the company headquarters in Derby.
With 250 racks, Node4’s second facility will offer 24/7 monitoring, automatic climate control, UPS, power generators, a security controlled access system and SAN back-up.
Andrew Gilbert, Node4’s MD said in a company news announcement: “In the past 2 years we have experienced an increased demand for reliable, high availability hosting which we have been able to deliver from our first data centre. This is now full, which is why we have decided to expand and open Data Centre 2.
