Aug. 13, 2007 - AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced that Atlas (NASDAQ: AQNT), a provider of digital media technologies for agencies, advertisers and publishers, has signed an extension with AT&T. Under the terms of the contract, AT&T will provide an enterprise hosting solution for the next two years and will enable Atlas to house its entire suite of hosted application services in three fully redundant, highly available AT&T Internet Data Centers (IDC).
Atlas’ technologies for agencies and advertisers enable the unified management of digital marketing campaigns across display banners, rich media and search, video and Web sites. Atlas’ services for publishers help enhance advertising revenue across all available and developing digital media platforms.
Atlas chose to invest in outside data centers to house its high-volume, high-availability Web-serving infrastructure called “ad-hive clusters” as well as its extensive Web-advertising infrastructure. AT&T’s high-volume storage capacity will support both applications and will provide Atlas with a premium platform to execute in any environment in which digital advertising or content monetization strategies are employed.
Atlas will use AT&T’s enterprise-hosting, managed services, security services and back-end connectivity to the IDC to allow full visibility and end-to-end management in the delivery of its services and software.
By using AT&T hosting centers, Atlas will be able to provide a higher level of service to its clients while continuing to grow, and AT&T’s global reach will allow Atlas to serve strategic global audiences with the highest degree of performance and availability. Additionally, AT&T provides a global support infrastructure that allows Atlas to better manage its global footprint.
“It’s critical for our business that we provide our customers the highest degree of availability, most expansive reach and the greatest delivery speeds available to a global audience,” said Greg Meyer, senior vice president, Product and Technology, Atlas. “Trusting AT&T as our hosting and security services provider allows us to focus on our core business.”
The agreement renews and expands Atlas’ existing relationship with AT&T, which spans more than two years.
