October 11, 2007 (TopHosts News Brief) - Web host AT&T announced that it has extended its website hosting contract with Forbes.com, a leading source of business news and analysis.
The contract is an extension of the enterprise hosting services that AT&T has provided Forbes.com with for the past two years. Under the new contract, Forbes.com will continue to store networking equipment and critical data at an AT&T secure Internet Data Center.
Forbes.com will also use AT&T’s Intelligent Content Distribution Service to augment the website’s performance and equip it to handle traffic surges prompted by breaking news and special publishing events, such as the Forbes lists.
“We are thrilled to expand our business with AT&T,” Mike Smith, Forbes.com’s vice president and general manager, said in a company release. “AT&T’s online infrastructure has provided Forbes.com visitors around the world with a fast, reliable experience on our site, even in periods of high traffic. We recognize the value that AT&T’s hosting capabilities bring to our online business.”
