October 24, 2007 (TopHosts News Brief) - Hostroute.com Ltd, a UK-based Web host, announced it has merged with Ultraspeed UK Ltd, a dedicated Web hosting solutions provider.
The two companies will now host over 50,000 European and North American websites.
The merger also resulted in several promotions with Jordan Gross, formerly the commercial director at Ultraspeed UK Ltd, taking on the role of managing director of the new Ultraspeed Group and Gordon Hudson, formerly Hostroute’s managing director, also joining the new board and taking on executive responsibility as marketing director.
“The merger was an obvious next step in the Hostroute’s development,” Hudson said in a press announcement. “Our customers now have the opportunity to migrate seamlessly to sophisticated hosting services as their business grows and their requirements become more complex. The services developed and pioneered by Ultraspeed and its partners are setting the standard for enterprise level hosting.”
Both companies will retain their brand names.
