November 5, 2007 (TopHosts News Brief) - London, UK-based Web host Total Web Solutions announced that it has achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance.
The Web hosting services provider worked with Ingrian Networks Inc. to achieve this.
Achieving the compliance was part of Total Web Solutions commitment to providing its customers with secure online transactions. Ingrian implemented its DataSecure platform bundle, which provides failover capabilities to guarantees continuity of cryptographic operations. Its DataSecure 100 Series is geared towards both SMEs and department-specific encryption within large enterprises.
“PCI DSS was a major driver behind our efforts to implement effective protection of cardholder data,” Miesha Vukasinovic, Total Web Solutions managing director, said in a company-issued statement. “With the abundance of breaches in the news, shielding data from criminally minded individuals was integral to protecting our own reputation, as well as that of our substantial customer base. As one of only a handful of service providers that offers its customers real-time card processing capabilities, the responsibility for robust, all-encompassing data protection falls on us.”
