November 08, 2007 (TopHosts News Brief) - Cirrus Tech. Ltd, a Web host based in Toronto, Ontario, is using the strong Canadian dollar as a way to entice potential clients in the US.
“Having benefited from the strong Canadian Dollar, and being appreciative of the enormous demand by the Canadian market, it is time to share our fortune with hosting clients both in Canada as well as in the US,” Ali Mirdamadi, Cirrus Tech’s CFO, said in a statement issued to the media.
In addition to reducing the prices on its Web hosting plans, it has also taken the exchange rate out of the equation when prices for customers in the US are determined in its American store. This gives clients the ability to buy affordable plans and pay the exact same dollar figure in Canadian or US Dollars.
This offer helped to improve its sales in the third quarter.
