November 15, 2007 (TopHost News Brief) – Web hosting giant GoDaddy has joined forces with Research In Motion to integrate its Web-Based E-mail into the Canadian company’s hugely popular BlackBerry smartphone.
The integration allows users to send and receive e-mail using their smartphone when used in conjunction with their GoDaddy e-mail account. Messages sent from their mobile device will appear in their “Sent” folder online.
Users simply need to input their username and password on the handset and the BlackBerry Internet Service will be able to automatically synchronize with their Web-based account once it is set up. The smartphone will let them know when a new e-mail has arrived.
“This ideal solution allows our customers to be away from their computers and more easily communicate by email,” Bob Parsons, GoDaddy’s CEO and founder, said in a press release. “We want to make life easier for our customers and this integration with BlackBerry email certainly does the trick.”
