December 13, 2007 (TopHosts News Brief) - Easy CGI, a Pearl River, New York-based Windows Web hosting services provider, announced that it has launched .NET Framework 3.5.
The company’s shared hosting customers can now take advantage of all the features the upgraded version of the solution has to offer. Sites built using .NET 2.0 and 3.0 can seamlessly migrate to the new version.
Some of the features include expansions on previous versions with ASP.NET AJAX, the ability to use Language Integrated Query (LINQ) and a variety of other new tools. Web developers can now build applications using Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation and Windows Workflow Foundation in an efficient manner.
“Many of our customers stay in tune with the latest technologies, so we anticipated a large number of requests to upgrade to Framework 3.5,” Ted Beckwith, Easy CGI’s vice president, said in a press release issued by the company. “Now, our customers have all the new features and tools of .NET Framework 3.5 to push boundaries in their developments.”
