Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions To Distribute Hitachi’s BladeSymphony Servers
Arrow ECS will be the first North American distributor of Hitachi’s new blade servers.

January 2, 2008 (TopHosts News Brief) - Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, an enterprise and mid-sized computing solutions provider, announced that it will be the first North American distributor of Hitachi’s BladeSymphony servers.
The company will distribute Hitachi’s BladeSymphony 1000 with Virtage and BladeSymphony 320 servers through a partnership with Server Systems Group (SSG), a division of Hitachi. The servers address all tiers of a data center’s computing needs. BladeSymphony with Virtage is designed to cater to the needs of enterprise customers.
“Arrow ECS brings to partners and customers a solid record of moving products from the manufacturing line to the data center. Our agreement with Arrow ECS simplifies the task of providing cutting-edge computing assets at reduced costs,” Elizabeth King, Hitachi America, SSG’s vice president and general manager, said in a press release issued by the company. “Hitachi expects increased availability and expansion of our BladeSymphony series through this agreement, furthering Hitachi’s goal of making BladeSymphony a household name by addressing a broad range of data center needs.”
