February 28, 2008 - (TopHosts News Brief) – Sitestar Corporation, an Internet solutions provider offering consumer and business-grade Internet access and Web hosting, announced today that it has purchased, from Comcation, their Internet access and web hosting customer base in addition to other assets.
SiteStar predicts an excellent year in 2008, which is prompted by the momentum of the company’s milestone purchase of almost 40,000 subscribers. These subscriptions were sold and marketed under the InReach Internet, Nationwide Internet, and DFW Internet brands that were formerly held by Maryland-based MobilePro Corporation. This recent purchase is just the beginning of what SiteStar anticipates to come.
“Comcation’s blend of access and hosting customers represents the ideal customer composition that Sitestar is targeting for acquisition,” suggests Frank R. Erhartic, Jr., CEO for Sitestar. “Our strategy is to continue to leverage our economies of scale within the narrowband segment to generate revenue that will drive new growth in opportunistic market segments such as web hosting which, like dial-up, has strong profit margins but, also, the added benefit of customer ‘stickiness.’”
The company welcomes former Comcation customers and anticipates a seamless transition to the company’s own infrastructure. SiteStar looks forward to providing them with unmatched service and support.
