SAN ANTONIO – Mar. 24, 2008 – Rackspace, a leading global provider of hosted IT services, today announced the addition of two new executives to the company’s management team.
David Belle-Isle joins Rackspace as senior vice president of Human Resources. Belle-Isle has more than 30 years of human resources experience, leadership development, and Net Promoter experience, the last seven with Intuit, Inc. where he was senior vice president of Organization and Process Excellence. In this role he architected the Customer Experience Review Process, designed to measure and improve customer experiences and loyalty, which Rackspace embraces as a key strategy for profitable growth.
Rackspace has also added Jeff Reich as chief security officer with responsibility for Risk Management, Security, Compliance and Insurance programs. Prior to joining Rackspace, Reich was at CompuCredit in Atlanta, where he created the Information Security Officer position directing efforts in Information Security, Business Continuity, Change Management and Regulatory Compliance. He has done similar work with CheckFree, Interland and Dell.
“David and Jeff bring years of experience and knowledge to Rackspace,” said Lanham Napier, president and CEO, Rackspace. “As we continue to hire more and more Rackers everyday, we must maintain our unique culture. David has the challenge of hiring, developing and rewarding talented and engaged Rackers so that they in turn can provide customer experiences that build customers for life. With his background in talent acquisition and development, he will drive our continued people-leadership, as evidenced by our ranking as number 32 on FORTUNE’S 11th annual ‘100 Best Companies to Work For’ list.
“Jeff comes to us with a breadth of experience in building successful internal security management programs across the nation. He is well-known and highly respected in the security community, holding CISSP, CHS-III and CTM certifications and designations with many honors. Jeff is charged with enhancing our own Risk Management, Security, Compliance and Insurance programs so that they become even more integral parts of our company’s continued growth and success.”
