March 27, 2008 - (TopHosts News Brief) – Microsoft Gold Certified Provider of web hosting, MaximumASP, announced the grand opening of their new data center in Chicago, Illinois.
The new data center will provide customer colocation services, off-site disaster recovery for the existing Louisville, Kentucky location, managed private customer networks, and managed security services.
Providing SAN-to-SAN data replication through a private connection, the company’s new Chicago data center will enable customers to retain backup data in two locations with rapid-restore capabilities. Customers are now able to have off-site data retention and backup capabilities without the management headaches typically found with keeping data synchronized among locations.
“This expansion was a no-brainer for us and was driven by customer demand and a need for a separate new high-power-density location,” explained Wade Lewis, MaximumASP’s Managing Partner. “We are very proud of what this data center has to offer to our customers, and are equally proud of the efficiency and redundancy of the design. We work hard to stay on top of all the latest developments in the IT infrastructure industry. With that priority in mind, and the steady growth of our customers, a data center expansion was a necessary move for us. After an extensive nationwide search Chicago was the location of choice for us.”
