March 31, 2008 - (TopHosts News Brief) – Glasgow based Business Internet Solutions company, NSDesign, today announced that they have partnered with Tree Appeal to jointly launch a new “Green” Web Hosting package, tailored towards their environmentally conscious client base.
For an optional £5.00 customer contribution, which is matched by NSDesign, the new “Go Green” initiative facilitates the planting of 1 native broad-leaved tree such as oak, beech and ash.
“We’ve always been highly focussed on enviromentally friendly business practices like choosing to host our web servers in a Carbon Neutral Data Centre or recently offsetting our entire carbon footprint, and our Go Green campaign allows our customers to get involved, and help put something back into the environment,” commented Gary Ennis, Managing Director for NSDesign.
With this Tree Appeal partnership, NSDesign now joins a number of environment conscious UK companies that are striving to make a difference, helping to create a sustainable future.
“Initiatives like ‘Tree Appeal’ help support the Government’s strategy for sustainable development, with its aims of integrating our objectives on social progress, effective protection of the environment, prudent use of natural resources and high and stable levels of economic growth and employment to ensure a better quality of life for everyone, now and for generations to come,” suggested Jim Knight MP, Minister for Rural Affairs, Landscape and Biodiversity, DEFRA.
