May 20, 2008 (TopHosts News Brief) XCalibre’s cloud computing platform, FlexiScale, has been named as a finalist in the prestigious 2008 TechWorld Awards. Competing in the ‘Virtualisation Product of the Year’ category, FlexiScale is up against some big names including VMWare and NEC.
FlexiScale is up to this challenge as it has the important answers customers require including: What
would you do if you had 1,000 times more data? Or thousands more users almost overnight? What would you want to have from your IT infrastructure to properly enable your thriving business?
Of course, customers want it to be agile and flexible, highly available and scalable, quick and easy to deploy and manage, but without the need for big capital investment or long-term commitment.
FlexiScale Cloud Computing infrastructure meets all of these challenges and delivers additional benefits into the bargain: it’s designed as a pay-as-you-go infrastructure, so the issue of capital investment isn’t even on the radar any more. 1,000 times more data? “Bring it on!”
The winners will be announced on 11 June 2008. XCalibre has the champagne on order just in case.
