Insurance Software Company Chooses AT&T for a Portfolio of Web hosting Services

July 2, 2008 (TopHosts News Brief)- AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) announced it has secured a 3-year contract with Insuresoft, a provider of insurance software for the property and casualty insurance industry.

AT&T will deliver Web hosting services including collocation, as Insuresoft has opted to house its equipment and hardware at one its 38 global data centers. Additionally, AT&T will provide scalable bandwidth to ensure connectivity, uptime and the overall reliability necessary to support Insuresoft’s network traffic, services and customers.

Chris Blair, vice president of Product Management for Insuresoft said in a media announcement: “From the start, we needed a collaborative provider with the power and connectivity to ensure a top-notch experience for our customers.” Blair added, “AT&T has the complete set of solutions and capability to support Insuresoft’s operations and paves the way for our company to evolve applications to a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.”

AT&T’s BusinessDirect Web portal and management tools are also available to Insuresoft. This Web platform can be used for such tasks as secure bill payments and network data analysis.
