Two companies partner to provide Flexible ASP.NET e-commerce solutions for the Windows 2008 Web hosting platform.

July 15, 2008 (TopHosts News Brief) DiscountASP.NET said it will partner with Znode Storefront to prepare Flexible ASP.NET e-commerce solutions for the Windows 2008 hosting platform.

The partnership means that DiscountASP.NET, a Windows Web hosting provider, will provide its customers a 20% discount on the Znode Storefront application. Znode Storefront customers are eligible to receive get 6 months of free Web hosting for the first year on DiscountASP.NET’s base ASP.NET annual hosting plan.

Vish Vishwanathan, CEO of Znode says in a news statement: “Although we extensively test the Znode Storefront platform internally, we believe that it is important to test on a live shared hosting environment to experience deploying our application like our customers would experience. Being an early adopter of new technology, our partner, DiscountASP.NET, allowed us to thoroughly test on their live Windows 2008 shared hosting platform before our newest version was released.”

DiscountASP.NET’s Vice President of Marketing, Takeshi Eto noted that his company officially launched Windows 2008 shared hosting in February 2008 and continued, “Because IIS7 is a major update, we believe it is important for us to work with our partners to prepare for Windows 2008 hosting. I am happy to announce that the Znode storefront application is fully compatible with the DiscountASP.NET Windows 2008 hosting platform.”
