August 5, 2008- (TopHosts News Brief)- Canadian Web Host, Cirrus Tech, recently expanded its Virtual Private Server (VPS) offerings.
Existing Windows and Linux VPS product offerings now include two new VPS plans specifically targeted to customers who require a larger amount of dedicated resources.
Mani Aminian, Sales Manager at Cirrus Tech, explained the need to expand the plans: “Weve noticed that some of our clients are really underutilizing their VPS while other clients are realizing they require significantly more resources. Our cheapest VPS plan is aimed at providing a very light VPS for those clients that require minimal resources while our more robust VPS offerings are created for clients that are looking for dedicated-server-like resources in a VPS container.”
VPS clients interested in using it as a testing environment or who simply want to utilize Windows remote desktop should examine the lower end plans. However, users that are considering moving to a dedicated server but want to avoid the costs and downtime associated with this migration, should look into the higher resource VPS plan. Either option enables scalability and more efficient use of server resources.
