TopHosts News-02-11-10- More than four million fans visited the New Orleans Saints website (http://www.neworleanssaints.com) on Super Bowl Sunday. This extensive traffic was enabled due to strong Web hosting support from Adhost Internet, based in Seattle.
The New Orleans Saints first Super Bowl appearance ended in a huge 31-17 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and fans of the team, dubbed the Who Dat Nation, flooded to the website to check photos, highlights, additional coverage and basically share in the celebration.
Cypress Consulting was responsible for the site design and the availability of the multimedia content such as team news, player interviews and photo galleries while network services, hosting and infrastructure reliability was provided by Adhost.
Doug Miller, senior director of communications for the New Orleans Saints, congratulated both companies on their joint effort: “Cypress and Adhost did a phenomenal job preparing the Saints website for our historic Super Bowl victory. Their hard work gearing up for the surge in traffic and assisting the team in real-time content updates during the Super Bowl led to a fantastic online experience for our fans on Super Bowl Sunday – and beyond. I can’t say enough good things about the work Cypress and Adhost have done in support of the New Orleans Saints digital efforts – they are our go-to team for the web.”
