Navy SEALS Choose Their Web Host

EPHost Inc. of San Diego won the lucrative Web hosting contract for SEALSWCC.COM

After accepting RFPs for Web hosting services since May 20th, the Navy SEALS finally awarded the $35,229.40 contract to EPHost Inc. of San Diego.

The official website of the U.S. Navy SEAL and SWCC Scout Team - SEALSWCC.COM - has been experiencing spikes in traffic since the assassination of Osama bin Laden on May 2 and downtime had to be averted.

EPHost had to come through with a Windows/Intel-based Web hosting network, committed monthly bandwidth of 28 Mbps per month (with bandwidth in reserve for peak traffic) as well as software support, firewalling, round-the-clock monitoring, anti-virus protection, server monitoring, domain name management, online data backup and OS updates.
