April 29 has been declared Web Professionals’ Day! That’s right, it’s the second annual WPD, dedicated to those special individuals or teams, who create, fix, maintain, upgrade, protect, optimize, market and re-develop websites around the globe. I hope all of our fellow Webmasters have some downtime, or rather, an extended break to do some celebrating.

They’ve even provided a way to share your thoughts and compliments at www.GoDaddy.com/WebProfessionalsDay09.
Maybe all that’s required is some time and patience before this thing starts to snowball. Or at least throw it to Google to get this off the ground since they are so integral in making or breaking a website’s success. Wait a second. It’s still the Webmasters and the Web pros who do that, and that’s why we all need to thank them. So thank you very much.

Today we celebrate our like (and respect) for the Web pro
