Politicians tickled by Web hosting provider's expansion

It’s great to see politicians weighing in on Web hosting operations. InMotion Hosting triggered the responses with a decision to expand its support facility in the Virginia Beach area, creating 275 new jobs and investing up to $250,000 on new equipment.

The Governor of Virginia, Bob McDonnell said: “Since establishing operations in Virginia Beach in 2004 with just one employee, InMotion Hosting has continued to grow and add team members. Virginia Beach offers a technically skilled workforce, excellent communications infrastructure and affordable business costs – all ingredients for steady growth and success.”

Virginia Beach Mayor, Williams D. Sessoms, Jr. was equally as complimentary about the talent available for the Web host’s growth plans over the next three years. He added: “The company’s strong reputation for excellent customer service is based in large part on their emphasis on technical training for their employees. Our local education and workforce training capabilities were significant factors in the company’s decision to grow in Virginia Beach.”
