PR and SERP(ranking for your keywords) are totally two different things;
you may have good PR but you may not rank top for your keywords because your keywords may have high competition and you may not have worked hard SEO for optimized them to your site.
Having a high Pr is just a showoff which rarely helps you for getting traffic but you can impress your visitors if you have high PR.
