Computer Terminology describes words and phrases that are used to describe computers, computer accessories and the Internet. While a lot of the words are also used in normal, everyday conversation, many are unique to the world of computing and the Internet. There are words we use in normal everyday language that have a whole new meaning in the computer world. An Internet cookie is certainly something you would not want to put in your mouth and, at the same time, a delicious chocolate chip cookie is not something you'd want in your computer.
