There is something fundamentally wrong in my opinion with these very inexpensive hosts. We have a $9.95 plan that well, I consider to be the lowest you can go. Most hosts do over sell, and survive on the fact that a user will never use up everything they are paying for monthly. This is obviously what these very low cost hosts are doing, but to an extreme. They take a major gamble in my opinion.
These low costs hosts are obviously after a high number of clients, they are going to over load servers to no end. I have alot of issues with this personally.
First of all, I and my partners dont want a high number of clients. Our clients are typically screened by us, we talk to them and find out their needs and wants. This relationship we build comes in very handy when problems occur, it helps to calm people down, it helps to know who were dealing with and vice versa. Also, the fewer customers we have the few issues we have to deal with. Obviously everyone wants more customers, but tell me if I am wrong here, does it not make more sense to have one client paying $15 a month then to have to deal with 15 clients at a dollar a month?
Well that is my basic take on it all.
