Most dedicated server companies allow the customer to pick up the config. From godaddy to softlayer, any serious host will do that. You need not go with an unknown host just because you need a custom config.

I think that every time that would be better to configure server yourself but more expensive as well. So please be ready for that with hqhost.net servers. Anyway they have powerful hardware base.
