I have used FindWhat in the past and have found that it does not work. The ROI is even worse than that of Overture. The CPC sites that have the most traffic unfortunately do not result in a positive ROI.

The CPC sites increase revenue by using affiliates so you are also relying on the quality of traffic going to the affiliate sites. It is best to do some testing to see which CPC sites work best for you and which keywords work best for you.

We wasted quite a bit of money initially, but we have since refined our keywords and our bids, so we are getting a reasonable ROI

I'm not asking for your secrets... In general, what are you paying PER DAY to G! Ad Words? And I'm guessing you're not using keywords like "domain, domain name, etc." are you shooting for out of state customers?

I spent $10/DAY and got over 2,000 hits WITHOUT a single sale. I agree with most users here that Google Adwords do not work, however I'm willing to give it a second try with a better plan.

What are your thoughts?

We have contacted Google regarding this obvious irony. They confirmed the fact. Basically, it all boils down to, "the more you pay", the higher you will appear in the list, and thus the more chances you will have of someone clicking on your ad. A very expensive solution indeed.
Some nices are saturated and over priced in general. But as mentioned earlier, you can always try to finc certain keywords that are reasonable priced. And also geo=targettign is important.

There are other PPC ad options, cheaper than adsense, but not as good traffic as gogole/YPN provides.

If you don't have idea you will surly end up losing lots of money in any adwords. MOre over to have google adwords on hosting is not a good idea as their are tons of companies to compete with. Try SEO on your website and make it come up on google to top pages.
