Thumbs up Choosing a Business Suit

Fashions come and go but one item of clothing that has remained relatively unchanged for decades for men, is the business suit. Worn either with or without a tie a suit is a timeless and classic look that's never out of place in a business environment. Even the most casual of businesses men have a suit for those occasions when only a suit will do.

Choosing a suit isn't difficult if you follow these basic steps with respect to fabric, fit and style. As with everything else you get what you pay for but modern manufacturing techniques mean a great looking business suit needn't cost the earth. If you have a reasonable budget, you will have no problem finding a great business suit.

Fabric

There are obviously a lot of different fabrics available but if you need a suit to be hard wearing it is wise to choose something with a reasonably high wool content, say 45% or greater. Combining polyester with wool ensures you will have a suit that has good crease recovery and will be relatively straight forward to dry clean, a good idea for work.

The Fit

If you buy from a reputable firm they will ensure ensure a good fit and one popular option to make sure you get a good fit is to buy a mix and match suit. A mix and match suit allows you to buy a jacket with whatever size trousers you need. This may sound obvious but many suits are sold as a two piece suit and you can't alter the jacket and trouser sizes!

One very useful benefit of the mix and match approach is you can buy a second pair of trousers. Very often in a business environment you will remove and hang your jacket once you get to the office or meeting, it's not that common to remove and hang your trousers! This can result in your suit trousers becoming worn before the jacket. The mix and match approach allows you to buy extra trousers either when you need them or when you buy the suit ensuring you get most from your investment.

Here is a fun trick:

Posting on social networking site, post on forums, blogs, and so on it can be hard to understand how many people have actually seen the site. There is no way to gage how it's been seen.
