Re: E-Business Marketing
There exist many definitions of marketing, in fact, too many. Together with the progression of the Internet, and consequently the development of new marketing techniques, technologies and stratagem, new definitions of marketing are appearing in large numbers. However plural and diverse the definitions of marketing may be, the essence of the said remains intact. Marketing is still no doubt the unique function of the business enterprise and no prosperous business is possible nowadays without effective marketing.

Re: E-Business Marketing
Marketing managers and strategists have for years used the ‘Four P’s’ model to define their business strategy for product specification, delivery and promotion. These four most important ‘P’s are generally accepted to be: Price, Product (specification and branding), Promotion and Place (or Placement, the mode of delivery, or Distribution). These headings are still useful in considering e-business, but there are a number of specific additions that are important to consider.

Re: E-Business Marketing
(1) The main advantage of the Internet Marketing is the one-on-one interaction between the manufacturer and the customer. The mails or the messages are sent to the customers in bulk but when the customers are opening the mailboxes, they are getting the mail addressed directly to them
(2) Among the other advantages of Internet Marketing you could include the demographics targeting by the online marketers, measurability, customer response and the immediate results.

Re: E-Business Marketing
On-Line Marketing ¬– by utilising various methods of search engine optimisation including the publishing of articles at online article sites, directory submission and the use of a text rich website many potential customers can be reached on the internet. The resulting good Search Engine Results Placement (SERP) can be used to reach out to new customers who may not have known your website existed before they used the search engine to try and find the products in question. Comparing this to marketing and promotion campaigns needed with a regular retail set up, an e-commerce website becomes an even more attractive idea. This search engine optimisation work can cost from as little as £150 a month.

Re: E-Business Marketing
Most businesses believe that marketing effectiveness is expressed solely in numbers. Apparently, there are aspects (metrics) of marketing effectiveness that can be quantified and measured. The first and foremost goal of marketing is to create customers. Consequently, the effectiveness of this aspect of marketing can be evaluated by the number of new customers, new leads of a company or, in case of telemarketing, the number of completed calls. Another significant metric of effectiveness is the number of new products purchased by existing customers since the objective of any enterprise that intends to stay competitive in the market is not only to create new customers but to value and retain the ones they have already.

Re: E-Business Marketing
Email marketing is it. These days, just about every profession and industry has an email marketing campaign. What is the thing with email marketing? Why is everyone exploiting the seemingly cheap opportunity of advertising?
