Fastest way to get indexed?

What is the fastest way to get our site in Google or any of the other search engines? I read that using flash might hurt us, is that true?

Sam123,

I believe that the best and fastest way to get your website indexed by gogle and various other search engines is to get your website linked on many other websites which are relvevant to your websites content.

Soon after, the search engines shall re-index these websites and find your link and then crawl yours.

To get a good Page Rank; can take some time.

Be patient and try hard.
