Default Reasons for Decline in Your Search Engine Ranking

So you had a good, respectable search engine rank in Google or any other search engine but now it has dropped significantly and you are after the reasons why it has happened. Now there could be zillions of reasons behind this, no specific way to define what could be the problem or how to fix it. In this thread, we are discussing some major points.

Low Frequency Post

You have lowered your posting frequency or the number of times you update your website or portal. Google prefers those websites and pages which are updated regularly, as this is an indication that a blog is up-to-date with the latest information. More you update your portal, better would be its ranking.

Low Quality of Content
The quality of the content that you are posting on your portal is not up to the mark. Due to this, people are not visiting your domain and you are not getting any backlinks from any website or blog, nor are people sharing your blog posts on their online social networks. This could also be the result for your low rank in search engines.

Bad CMS

Your content management system (CMS) has not all the pre-requisites that optimize a website for better ranking in search engine results. Carefully choose a CMS while starting your portal. If you were on the same CMS since the beginning and your ranking has dropped on that very CMS from something better, then one of the possibilities might be that you have added some custom plug-in that may have caused that.

Linking Back to Black Listed Websites
Google has blacklisted some websites for their inappropriate content or malware which may harm someone or intrude in their privacy. If you linkback to them through any advertising scheme or something similar, chances are that you will lose your search engine ranking.

These are some of the major points that we have discussed here, there could be countless other reasons behind this. For more details, please feel free to contact us at 1 Social media agency.

Even I have noticed that linking back to penalty websites affects your site too so it's better to avoid them and as content plays an important role to SEO, one should follow that thing to whatever techniques they are applying.

Keyword stacking, i.e. KS, is the most frequently made mistake for SEO beginners, which refers to repeat keywords again and again so as to increase its frequency.
