Can you look at their plans? Is their pricing ok? I need a host in India, they seem to be ok, not sure though if their dc is in India?

Hostcats.com whois says they are using Liquidweb data center. So if you are looking for a company that is not only headquartered in India, but have their servers there, go for somebody else.

HostCats.com has their servers in the USA those physically they are in India. I have heard a lot of pleasant feedbackas about the activity of Indian web hosting company. They seem nice for me all in all. Try them.

Indian hosts generally charge a lot and offer less, and seems to be out of sync with the rest of the world. Checkout sify, indiatimes etc. and see the differnce!

I see your point, but how happen then that so many hosting companies use Indian support staff? And I know lots of such instances.
And Hostcats.com pricing is quite on the level with the prices of the USA hosts.
