What are IP Blocking and Hotlink Protection? MarbleHost.com provides these features in their web hosting package plans.
Can anybody expalain it?

Both IP blocking and Hotlink protection features are enacled in the cpanel, so you will get them on any cpanel hosting plan. Hotlinking is when another site is linking to your images or files. Hotlink protection will stop them from stealing your bandwidth. I have it enabled on my hosting plan from Webhostingbuzz.com, but I haven't used IP blocking feature.

IP blocking prevents the connection between a computer or network and certain IP addresses or ranges of addresses. IP blocking effectively bans undesired connections from those computers to a website, mail server, or other Internet server.
MarbleHost.com provides it in their shared plans and it's a good advantage of their services.

Isn't this cpanel feature? I guess this can be done not only in cpanel, but in other panels as well.
It's very rarely that hosts specify this as a feature.I couldn't find this say in MMhosting.com plan, but I know their clients can do this.

Think these features are worked in the control panel. MarbleHost.com provides it in their hosting plans as well and it's quite natural to provide that.

Sounds like these threads are created by marblehost employess themselves. On every forum there are threads like "oh.. marblehost provides xyz.." and noobs start thinnking that this is something unique! Grow up guys, stop being rediculous. All cpanel hosts offer these features. Now dont create another thread saying "marble host offers PHP"..

Alemcherry, don't be so strict. I think a forum is the place where the members put different questions. They may be silly for you but not like that for the others.
Right, these features are the essential ones of the panel that MarbleHost.com provides as well as the other control panels.
