CPanel seems to be pretty popular, but I use the control panel from
www.sphera.com with my host. It's not always about the control, it's about what the software in it's entirety does. For linux, you have your own my.cnf, httpd.conf, php.ini and essentially your own vds with full directory structure AND shell access. You can shell in and instantly use MySQL or install PHPMyAdmin and manage the MySQL databases from there. The sphera linux hosting platform is truly amazing in the freedom it gives you with a website. You can even change your default document root.
www.vianetworks.net has this platform for cheap money, well worth the investment just to check it out. For a reseller, it's been awesome.
