Default How to stop Linux server abuse from your shared hosting account ?

My friend is using shared hosting account on linux server. His website is also not having much traffic i.e. abt 1000 visitors per day.His website is often gets down due to server abuse problem.i.e. high use of resources like CPU use...What measures can be taken from your cpanel account to stop this problem 100%

Consider switching to a new host. I know the host I use has high tolerance for traffic because they know how to manage servers well. They know the threshold and keep the amount of shared accounts under that.
