Intermedia.NET Increases the Disk Space of its Dedicated Exchange Hosting
June 16, 2006 (TopHosts News Brief) Microsoft Exchange hosting provider, Intermedia.NET, announced it has doubled the disk space offered with dedicated Exchange servers for new Exchange hosting customers. In a RAID array for maximum redundancy, new dedicated accounts will now receive two 73 GB drives. Also, dedicated accounts are now eligible for a free hosted SharePoint account.
We are seeing a clearly growing demand for more disk space, as companies keep greater volumes of email and move more files into an online, hosted environment. In both our Small Business and Enterprise plans, with 1 GB per mailbox, and now our Dedicated Exchange servers, we are meeting these needs, Serguei Sofinski, CEO of Intermedia.NET, said in a Yahoo Press Release.
This change follows Intermedia.NETs recent introduction of 1 GB hosted Exchange mailboxes on its storage area network (SAN) Exchange infrastructure. Now, dedicated Exchange customers are also benefiting from more storage space for email, public folders and other files.
