I think there should be stronger management on them as they are skillful in helping users as well as intervene the users' business.

I have personally experienced numbers of uninvited interventions form my web hosting, broadband TV, mobile phone network provider before. They were nasty and discouraging experiences. I can give proofs.

Not matter their purpose is to manipulate the users to subscribe more service or simply a gesture of dislike, I think this kind of act should not be overlooked. The technical support's intervention can be inconsiderate and can thus probably cause serious damage to users' benefit. Moreover, they are gaining power of controlling user behavior in this way since the users are under threat of seemingly unpredictable technical issue.
