Is it true that Litespeed server is 9 times faster them Apache?

While I was looking through various web hosting providers and got to know that pacifichost.com offered cPanel Litespeed hosting services.
They use Litespeed server and state that it is 9 times faster than Apache one.


Is it really true?

What can you tell my about their pricing for web hosting plans?

well i tested litespeed on cpanel yesterday.
it is speedy but it shuts down apache and mysql.its not compatible with a number of scripts
