Re: How to dual boot .?
What linux distro do you want to install?
If you've never used linux before, I suggest starting off with Ubuntu. Download the iso and burn it on a CD, put the CD in the cd tray and restart PC. It should pop up with installation screen, if not, restart PC, go into your BIOS and disable your IDE Primary Master (i.e. your hard drive). Restart PC, and it should pop up with a menu. After that, just choose install ubuntu, and it'll be easy sailing from there. When you get to a screen, it'll ask where to allocate the installation at. Make sure you choose to create a partition and install it along side of Windows XP.
