Mac Photo Slideshow

I recently switched from pc to MacBook Pro and need to create slideshows and burn them to dvd. I will use mainly hundreds of still photos and a very little bit of video. In the past I've used products like Roxio, Pinnacle, and Photoshop Elements/Premiere Elements on the pc. Now I've made a slideshow on the MBP using iPhoto, but I find it pretty limited. I realize that there is probably very excellent software out there for this purpose, so: What would be the best slideshow software mac or dvd slideshow for mac which would allow me to do really cool things, especially with the still images? I'd also like to make a dvd menu with chapters, etc. before burning to dvd. Thanks for any advice. Sorry for my ignorance.

Find the program you want to use slides, you need to upload your photos. There should be an open, or you are using the program upload photos button will automatically upload these photos has been held for a photo showing how you want the timeline.
